This is such a treat to have in Nashville! The food is so authentic and so delicious ! The sancocho will cure anything ! It is the best soup anywhere in Nashville hands down. The empanadas come out hot and not stale like in other bakeries in the US. The entrees like the Bandeja Paisa are so big - you can for sure share it! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

My family and I drove from Knoxville for Mother’s Day with plans for exploring different places and trying out new restaurants over the weekend. We enjoyed every dish we ordered, so much so that we decided to order takeout as well. My wife ordered the”sancocho” which was the star of our visit, being Mother’s Day and seeing her so happy made it all more special. The “carne frita”, empanadas and everything we tried was delicious. Don’t miss the chance to try their sweet plantains, they are probably the best I ever had.

cute cozy little restaurant with a comfortable vibe. Catalina was my waitress and was so friendly & helpful--when I told her I'd never tried Colombian food, she took me thru the menu & made several great recommendations. I tried several empanadas, all hot and tasty, and soursop juice which was AMAZING. can't wait to go again, maybe try breakfast next time! 10/10 :)

The dining experience was exceptional. The tables were well-arranged, and the atmosphere was inviting and pleasant. I highly recommend the empanadas de carne, as they were flavorful and expertly prepared. Additionally, the prices were very reasonable, making it an excellent choice for a high-quality meal without overspending.

As someone who lived in NYC previously, I have been looking for the most authentic Columbian food in Nashville and I found it here at La Cucharita. We tried the arroz con pollo and family special empanadas this time, but we will be back many more times. You may need to know some Spanish or use Google Translate to order.

We came here with a friend who was born in Colombia but was adopted at 3 months. He was so eager to try this place out and it did not disappoint in the tastes and service. The ambiance was very calm as we came at 7pm but after about 30min there was soon a few tables being taken by locals hungry for some Colombian cuisine. We’re vegetarian so we ordered sides but our friends ordered meat dishes that looked yummy and said it the sausage and meat tasted just like what they had in Colombia less than a month ago. Get the Lulo drink, sweet plantains and the pandebono when you check out to take home, a sweet cheesy bread pastry: we got guava! Highly recommend checking this unique restaurant out and supporting the culture along Nolensville Pike.
